The first project HoloHouse runs together with GU is aiming at increasing cycling at the campus, both among students and staff. This project will set strategic goals and involve relevant actors that can contribute to provide the appropriate conditions. It will contribute to meet the overall CO2 reduction goal of 50% until 2030. The project will also comprise an inventory of parking possibilities on or in the vicinity of campus and GU:s offices.
Projektet gällande omvärldsanalysen kommer att löpa under perioden 1 maj 2022- till 31 augusti 2022, som skall ge underlag till Göteborgs universitets arbete med att bli klimatneutral och de delmål som satts upp – att krympa CO2 utsläppen med 25% till 2023 och 50% till 2030 baserade på 2019 års utsläpp. Projektet kommer att ge en klar definiering av vad som menas med klimatneutral och en direkt relevant omvärldsanalys över hur andra svenska men även europeiska lärosäten tolkat sina åtaganden att minska sina klimatutsläpp (direkta och indirekta i GHG protokollets scope 1-3).
The other project takes on the notion of climate neutrality, which is something referred to both in GU´s plan of operation and in the Climate Framework. This comprises looking at other universities in Sweden and abroad to identify best practices in climate reduction measures.
