Company introduction
HoloHouse is a non-profit association that promotes sustainable development through collaborations between academia and industry. Since 1997, we have initiated and led sustainability projects by connecting innovative university students with experienced companies and organizations that have needs within sustainable development. Through more than 3,150 projects, we have created value for over 6,800 students and 2,200 organizations.
Kompetenslyftet sustainable business models is a project run by HoloHouse, funded by the Fyrbodal Municipal Association, University West, and the Västra Götaland Region. The project aims to strengthen the competitiveness of companies and increase the attractiveness for new investments by developing sustainable skills supply strategies in various industries within the Fyrbodal region.
Assignment
Join our project ”Kompetenslyftet hållbara affärsmodeller”, där du som student spelar en central roll i att utveckla hållbara kompetensförsörjningsstrategier för företag i Fyrbodalsregionen. Projektet genomförs inom fyra branscher: bygg & fastigheter, turism, matproduktion och primärvården.
Syftet är att ge företagen långsiktiga strategier för att kunna arbeta vidare med sitt hållbarhetsarbete och att säkerställa att rätt kompetens finns på plats för framtidens utmaningar. Genom att samarbeta med företag och samhällsorganisationer får du möjlighet att tillämpa teoretisk kunskap i praktiken, utmana etablerade arbetssätt och bidra till verklig förändring.
Områden och uppgifter
Construction & Real Estate – Skills Supply for Sustainable Building
- Analyze the skills in demand within sustainable construction and property management.
- Develop a strategy for recruitment and further education within small and medium-sized enterprises.
- Investigate how the industry can attract more young people and newcomers.
- Skapa en mall för kompetensplanering.
Tourism – Skills Supply in a Seasonal Industry
- Identify the skills that are in demand within the tourism sector in Fyrbodal.
- Utveckla en strategi för rekrytering och kompetensutveckling mellan säsonger.
- Analyze how sustainability can be integrated into skills supply.
- Skapa en mall för långsiktig kompetensplanering.
Food Production – Skills Supply for a Sustainable Food Industry
- Map out the skills needed in sustainable food production.
- Develop a strategy for recruitment and skills development within food companies.
- Explore how companies can attract more young people and new workers.
- Create a template for skills planning within food production.
Primärvården – Kompetensförsörjningsstrategi för framtidens vård
- Analyze the skills needed in primary care in the Fyrbodal region.
- Develop a strategy to attract, retain, and develop healthcare staff.
- Explore how digitalization and new working methods can impact the skills needs.
- Skapa en mall för vårdcentralers långsiktiga kompetensförsörjning.
Project setup & implementation
- Time per project: 40 hours
- Participation: Individuellt eller i par
- Final product: En rapport som presenterar konkreta förslag, mallar och tillvägagångssätt för en lyckad kompetensförsörjningsstrategi i vald bransch
- Certification: Deltagande studenter får certifikat från Holohouse
- Training: Möjlighet att gå relevanta utbildningar såsom CSRD, grundläggande hållbarhetsutbildning och branschspecifik utbildning
- Timeline: Projekten kan genomföras fram till november
