Company introduction
In a world where toxic non-stick frying pans (like Teflon) are bought, used, and discarded within just a few years, OnePan challenges the norm. OnePan is a circular company, founded by, among others, TV chef Tareq Taylor, that designs frying pans and baking trays that can withstand both the heat of professional kitchens and the process of being restored to like-new condition once they wear out. All their products are coated with a ceramic non-stick coating – free from toxic chemicals like PFAS – which prevents food from sticking. The circular system is based on a service called Re-Coat, which means the products can look, feel, and function like new simply by restoring the top layer, the coating. This ensures that all other valuable materials – and even emissions from new production – do not go to waste.
OnePan is more than just a product; it is a movement aimed at changing the way we think and act in the kitchen, and thus our impact on the planet. They work with recycled materials and package their products in reused pillowcases from the hotel industry, highlighting their commitment to the circular economy and environmental awareness.

Assignment:
As an intern at OnePan, you will have the opportunity to work at the heart of the company’s leadership team and contribute to driving the change towards a more sustainable future. Your role includes:
- Project Management and Corporate Management: Participate in strategic decisions and the implementation of projects to promote the company’s growth and sustainability initiatives.
- Research and Entrepreneurship: Collaborate with the management team on research projects and innovation work to continuously improve products and processes.
- Communication and Brand Development: Develop and implement communication strategies to strengthen OnePan’s market presence and highlight their sustainability efforts.
Specific tasks
- Participate in strategic meetings and contribute your expertise in management and sustainability.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and product development.
- Collaborate with the team to create and implement effective communication strategies.
- Contribute to the board work by preparing reports and presentations.
