Targeting local communities<\/h3>\n

M\u00f6jlighet att dela, \u00e5terbruka och \u00e5tervinna \u00e4r viktiga steg f\u00f6r en $2<\/a> och h\u00e5llbar utveckling i Sverige. Men hur kan \u00e5terbruk fr\u00e4mjas p\u00e5 kvartersniv\u00e5? Under h\u00f6sten 2016 lanserade HoloHouse (tidigare Milj\u00f6bron) Re:Challenge, en plattform f\u00f6r att utforska cirkul\u00e4r ekonomi i f\u00f6retag och samh\u00e4lle. Med i projektets f\u00f6rsta runda var fyra uppdragsgivare: G\u00f6teborgs Stad, Familjebost\u00e4der, Bostadsbolaget och Hyresg\u00e4stf\u00f6reningen. Sammanlagt engagerade HoloHouse \u00f6ver trettio studenter i sju utredningar om kvartersn\u00e4ra \u00e5terbruk och delandel\u00f6sningar i Brunnsbo, Bergsj\u00f6n, Hammarkullen, Majorna, Rannebergen och Torpa.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Intepreting re-use in a broader sense<\/h3>\n

The surveys that the students carried out showed that was high interest in local reuse and upcycling in various parts of Gothenburg. The incentives to share, re-use and upcycle is not only of environmental concerns but also economical.<\/p>\n

HoloHouses Martin Ahrin-Larsson, projektledare f\u00f6r Re:Challenge, tror att spr\u00e5ket har en viktig roll.<\/p>\n

\"It is important how we talk about circularity and re-use. The students involved found some terms difficult to understand and relate to. Thus some definitions were changed to draw more attention from younger generations.<\/p>\n

The physical place is also important. They have to be close to where the students spend their days or to other common venues. Venues for re-use of clothes for instance can be in close vicinty to schools, universities or sport arenas.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Cross-sectoral project<\/h3>\n

I projektet engagerades studenter fr\u00e5n flera av V\u00e4stra G\u00f6talands h\u00f6gskolor och universitet. Under fyra m\u00e5nader arbetade de intensivt i tv\u00e4rvetenskapliga grupper, b\u00e5de som del av studier och p\u00e5 ideell basis. Det \u00e4r f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen HoloHouse pr\u00f6var att l\u00e5ta studenter med olika $2<\/a>sbakgrund och kompetenser arbeta tillsammans i st\u00f6rre grupper. Projektperioden kantades av workshops f\u00f6r att \u00f6ka kunskapen kring cirkul\u00e4r ekonomi och diskutera gemensamma utmaningar i studenternas arbete. Olivia Sandstr\u00f6m som arbetade i Majorna har tagit med sig viktiga erfarenheter fr\u00e5n projektet.<\/p>\n

\"It has been incredily fun and interesting to combine so many students with fresh ideas and new perspectives. I am really glad I got involved in the project and hope to work more with circular economy in the future. I also hope that the initiatives that we now layed ground for will continue to grow.\"<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Viktiga l\u00e4rdomar om samverkan<\/h3>\n

One important objective of the project was to let the students come up with ideas of how to organise and finance re-use centers - a bottom-up approach. That was, however, a bit tricky to know before assessing the opportunities and needs in the local area and the local actors that can be involved. Martin Ahrin-Larsson underscore the complexity of the issue.<\/p>\n

It is a fairly large task to navigate between the different actors and combine different interests to joint action that can be implemented over time. Several of the actors involved were also non-for-profit, making the financing issue harder. Other aspects the project had to solve was which business models to build on and how to make sure they were developed over time. It would be great if the project could develop over time and deal with problems and issues as they appear, refining the business model and updating the constellation of actors involved.<\/p>\n

Resultaten i Re:Challenge f\u00f6rsta runda har legat till grund f\u00f6r en ans\u00f6kan fr\u00e5n G\u00f6teborgs Stad om uppstart av fyra kvartersn\u00e4ra \u00e5terbruksverksamheter i G\u00f6teborg.<\/p>\n
